Privacy Policy – Energix Renewable

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy“) explains the manner, in which Energix Renewable Ltd. (“Energix“), processes Personal Information. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Terms of Use (the provisions of the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy, collectively the “Terms”). terms not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them in the Terms of Use.

You have no legal obligation to provide Energix with any information or to allow the collection thereof. If you do not agree with the practices specified herein or in any of the Terms (including this Privacy Policy) you should not make any use of the Website. You are therefore advised to carefully and thoroughly read the Terms prior to browsing the and/or using the Website.

Without derogating from Energix’s rights under applicable law, using the Website shall constitute your consent with respect to “information” as defined in the Protection of Privacy Law 5741-1981 (“IPPL “) which shall also apply to other data related to an identified or identifiable natural person (we are referring to such information and data as “PII”) and any other data and/or information.

  1. How PII is collected?
  • PII actively provided by Users. When users provide Energix with certain data or information, such as their contact details in relevant fields of the Website, these may be retained and used for the purposes provided herein (not only replying to such Users’ requests). Such data voluntarily provided may include, details such as “Name”; “Company”; E-mail”; “Phone”; “Details” etc.
  • PII collected by Energix. Certain PII or data may be collected automatically and/or generated when you use the Website. Such data may be comprised from device and usage information, IP address, usage analytics, crash and bug reports, browser and device characteristics, operating system functionality information, language preferences, referring URLs, location, information about how and when you use the Website and your internet usage before and after such use, content preferences, other technical information and/or data that may not be necessary associated with you.
  • Your responsibility. You represent and warrant that any PII you provide or make available to Energix is reliable, complete, and accurate, and is provided by you in accordance with applicable law.
  1. How May Energix Use PII? Energix uses PII –
  • To conduct its business activities.
  • To facilitate your use of the Website and to respond to your inquiries, solve any potential issues you might have with the use of the Website and for other legitimate business purposes.
  • To make the Content available to you and send you information regarding Energix, its projects products and services.
  • To send you information regarding the Website and changes thereto, as well as information about changes to our terms, conditions, and policies.
  • To enforce and/or protect our rights, property and the safety of our users or any other person or entity.
  • In order to comply with and in order to assess compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • For security purposes. These purposes include the conduct of analysis required to detect malicious data and to understand how this may affect the user and/or the Energix IT system, for statistical monitoring and analysis of current attacks on devices and systems and for the on-going adaptation of the solutions provided to secure devices and systems against attacks.
  • For ongoing review and improvement of the Website, services, and/or products, the adding of features, ensuring they are user friendly and to prevent any potential disruptions, to understand feedback on the Services, for in-depth threat analysis, and to develop new products and services.
  • To measure Website usage levels, help diagnose server problems, and administer the Website. Please note that we treat IP addresses, server log files and related information as non-Personal Information, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law.
  1. Disclosure of PII to Third Parties. Energix may transfer PII –
  • In order to fulfill the purposes provided herein.
  • In order to comply with and in order to assess compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and internal policies and procedures.
  • To respond to your inquiries, solve any potential issues you might have with the use of the Website and for other legitimate business purposes.
  • In order to provide you with content and contact you regarding data and/or content Energix believes may be of interest to you, by direct mailing (as defined in the Protection of IPPL) and advertisement as defined in the Israeli Communications Law (Telecom and Broadcasts), 5742-1982.
  • To send you information regarding the Website and changes thereto, as well as information about changes to Energix’s terms, conditions, and policies.
  • In the event that Energix merges with a third party or is acquired by a third party, in full and/or in part, and/or enters into a contract with a third party to offer and/or sell assets and property rights in full and/or in part.
  • To enforce and/or protect Energix or any third party’s rights, property and safety of users or any other person or entity.
  1. Data Retention. Energix may (but is not obligated to) retain collected PII as long as it remains necessary for the purposes set forth above. Energix may, at it’s sole discretion, delete or amend information from any systems, without providing any notice.
  2. Use of Data Collection Technologies. Energix may use cookies, Web Beacons, Web Pixels, Flash, and/or other tracking technologies (hereinafter – “Data Collection Technologies“). In some cases, the Data Collection Technologies are stored on your device and/or computer and may be used, among other things, to verify information, data security, the content displayed to the user, and activate certain features automatically. In most cases, Data Collection Technologies store information that does not directly identify the user, such as the web pages visited by the user, the duration of his search, etc. In some cases, the Data Collection Technologies are installed in the browser used by the user. Modern web browsers include the option to avoid accepting “cookies” and the option to delete existing “cookies.” It should be noted that choosing not to allow the acceptance of “cookies” or, alternatively, the deletion of existing “cookies” may impair your enjoyment of using the Website. Please note that a user who deletes the Data Collection Technologies or does not allow their storage and/or if he changes the Flash properties, the online experience of that user through the Website (in whole or in part) will be limited. Third party services that Energix uses to run the Website may also use Data Collection Technologies and obtain data such as device ID, IP address and Advertising ID of the user.
  3. Commercial Content
  • By agreeing to register for the direct mail service, you waive any claim and/or demand in relation to receiving direct mail of any kind, whether from Energix or third parties acting on its behalf and/or providing the said service until after your request to be removed from the direct mail service as detailed below and to receive a removal confirmation from the mailing list from Energix.

  1. Information Security. Energix takes various measures to protect and secure PII and implements what it deems as commercially reasonable technical and administrative security measures designed to protect the security of PII. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, as provided in the Terms of Use. User’s use of the Website and the Content is at the User’s sole risk and if you feel that the security of your PII may have been compromised, please immediately notify us in the contact details below.
  2. Changes to Privacy Policy. Energix reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy from time to time and at its sole discretion. The user is advised to review the Privacy Policy frequently to keep abreast of any changes that may occur. Changes and clarifications in the Privacy Policy will take effect immediately upon their publication on the Website, and the user is responsible for updating them.
  3. Third Party Websites. The Website may contain links and references to various websites and pages on the internet that are operated by third parties (“Linked Websites”). It is agreed that Energix has no knowledge, control or responsibility for such Linked Websites. Submission of information and registration to these Linked Websites is not subject to the this Privacy Policy but rather to the privacy policy of such Linked Websites and the applicable laws.
  4. User Rights. A User may, under certain circumstances, be entitled to review the information held by Energix pertaining to such User. Energix will try to respond to your request in accordance with the law and subject to the provisions of such law. You can exercise your rights by contacting us using the details listed in the Terms of Use.
  5. Cross-Border Transfer
  • PII may be stored/processed in Israel, EU Member States, EEA member countries (Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) and the United Kingdom (collectively, “EEA”) and in countries that offer an adequate level of data protection under or pursuant to the adequacy decisions published by the relevant data protection authorities, without any further safeguard being necessary. However, in certain cases Energix may store or have Personal Information processed outside Israel, the EEA or such countries of adequate protection. Please note that such jurisdictions may have legislation that is less protective of your privacy rights, and you hereby provide your consent to such transfer/processing (outside of Israel, the EEA or countries of adequate protection).
  • You consent to the transfer of information to countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection rules than in your country.
