The Role

The Site Manager will be based out of our Arlington, Virginia headquarters but will involve traveling to any of our active construction sites. You will have a leadership role on the construction management team for utility scale solar for our company’s projects, including coordination within the company, contractors, inspectors, consultants, local counties, and other agencies. The Site Manager will assist in oversight of on-site operations during construction from permitting phase to closeout until turnover to operations and maintenance team.   • Maintain a firm understanding of contractor agreements to ensure compliance with project specifications, budget and schedule during construction.
  • Maintain a firm understanding of civil, electrical, and mechanical project drawing sets, while managing the on-site distribution and collection of IFCs, revisions, and as-built drawings.

The Role

In this role you will be part of the full development process for a portfolio of the company’s projects. Job Description

The Environmental Permitting Specialist may be based in our Arlington, Virginia headquarters or Roanoke, Virginia office. For this role, Energix, US is seeking an environmental permitting professional experienced with wetland and waters permitting applications, Permit by Rule (PBR) permitting process, and permitting risk assessment to support the Environmental Manager as well as the Origination, Development, Engineering and Construction teams across the full project life cycle. This role would report to the Environmental Manager.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gather relevant desktop and field data from third-party consultants as required and/or as appropriate in order to analyze potential environmental impacts of a project (included but not limited to wetlands, cultural, threatened, and endangered species)
  • Assist with the review of applications for environmental permits on a local, state, and federal level
  • Assist with technical reviews of third-party consultant’s field survey reports including delineation reports, cultural resource reports, and threatened and endangered species habitat survey reports
  • Communicating with the Environmental Manager for project environmental permitting risk assessments

The Role

 

The Controller performs various accounting and reporting activities that are essential to the accuracy of the financials. In addition to daily accounting operations, the Controller will be assigned additional responsibilities to make sure that best practices and that process and procedures are being followed. The Controller will play a key role in the Global financial statements compliance, by liaising with in-house and external finance and accounting professionals and providing them with the financial information to ensure full compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and group policies requirements.

Responsibilities 

  • Reporting directly to the CFO, the Controller is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, consolidations, budgets, establishment and following of the accounting policies and procedures, and provides leadership to the US accounting team. The Controller also involved in the tax preparation, reporting and planning activities, serves as trusted adviser to the CFO. 
  • The Controller will also serve as a key technical accounting resource for the accounting organization, responsible for development of the staff, with significant interaction with the corporate office in Israel and other functional leaders (Operations, HR, IT, Legal). 
  • The Controller will assist with the analysis of the financial results and operational trends, maintaining an integrity of the accounting systems and internal controls environment, and ensuring financial statements are prepared according to the US GAAP (with IFRS walk thru). 
  • Key responsibilities also include leading the Asst. Controller, AP and Treasury functions in administering accurate and timely reports, costs allocations and payments, and its impact on the month-end process, distribution of monthly financial statements and its supporting schedules, and assisting the FP&A department with yearly and projects budget/forecast.
  • Other duties may include designing and implementing improvements in financial process to meet the Group’s continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining appropriate relationships with external auditors and tax advisers.    

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field is required. Master’s Degree or CPA designation is an advantage

The Role

 

The Assistant Controller performs various accounting and reporting activities that are essential to the accuracy of the financials. In addition to daily accounting operations, the Assistant Controller will be assigned additional responsibilities to make sure that best practices and that process and procedures are being followed. The Assistant Controller will play a key role in the Global financial statements compliance, by liaising with in-house and external finance and accounting professionals and providing them with the financial information to ensure full compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and group policies requirements.

Responsibilities 

  • Reporting directly to the Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for internal and external financial reporting, establishment and following of the accounting policies and procedures, and provides leadership to the US accounting team. The Assistant Controller also involved in the tax preparation, reporting and planning activities, serves as trusted adviser to the CFO and Controller. 
  • The Assistant Controller will also serve as a key technical accounting resource for the accounting organization, responsible for development of the staff, with significant interaction with the corporate office in Israel and other functional leaders (Operations, HR, IT, Legal). 
  • The Assistant Controller will assist with the analysis of the financial results and operational trends, maintaining an integrity of the accounting systems and internal controls environment, and ensuring financial statements are prepared according to the US GAAP (with IFRS walk thru). 
  • Key responsibilities also include leading the AP and Treasury functions in administering accurate and timely costs allocations and payments, and its impact on the month-end process, distribution of monthly financial statements and its supporting schedules, and assisting with budget/forecast analysis.
  • Other duties may include designing and implementing improvements in financial process to meet the Group’s continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining appropriate relationships with external auditors and tax advisers.    

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or relevant field is required. Master’s Degree or CPA designation is an advantage
  • Prior experience in audit firm (2-4 years) or post-audit corporate financial reporting setting (additional 2 years) renewable related is an advantage, understanding of Global accounting rules and consolidation under US GAAP
  • Knowledge of the income tax provision (ASC 740) and support of the tax return preparation
  • Experience in foreign global environment and its accounting 
  • Experience in a “Big 10” accounting firm is preferred
  • Results Oriented with the ability to achieve results in a constantly evolving Global environment, with demonstrated success teams and tools to support changing program goals
  • Excel Maven with advanced abilities in Excel and computer systems
  • Strong Executer with a competitive skill set in financial reporting and accounting, annual reports, and compliance

The role

The Recruiter will be based in our US headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. In this role you will lead the full life-cycle recruitment process for our rapidly growing renewable energy company.  This includes developing and implementing a strategic recruitment plan based on the emerging needs of the company with direction from hiring managers. The Recruiter will be responsible for creating job descriptions, advertising and promoting roles to general and targeted audiences, pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and collaborating with others on hiring recommendations and terms. The recruiter must be skilled at identifying and evaluating talent, including both the candidate’s ability to do the job as well as navigate our complex, fast-paced work environment.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

The Recruiter is anticipated to have the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Drafts detailed and accurate job descriptions and criteria with input from hiring managers.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the role, industry standards, and organizational needs.
  • Manages job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of specialized interview questions and other assessments, as needed.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with hiring managers.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager, human resources manager, and/or others during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other details.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions as requested.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Promotes strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent.

Technical Skills & Expertise

  • 3 to 5 years track record of high volume recruiting in a rapidly growing organization, preferably in construction, renewable energy, or similar industry.
  • Experience in developing a recruitment plan based on projected organizational needs to meet the hiring priorities.
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies to recruit for a variety of roles.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
